Hi, I'm Marcia Welch. Back in the 80s I took a cake decorating class along with my Mom, and loved it.
I did a few cakes in my spare time, but was just beginning a career in the music industry and as a result my cake decorating was put on the back burner, restricted to "cakes for family occasions" only .  

 

In 2009 I decided to revisit cake decorating classes and realized how much I had missed this art form! 

 My friends saw what I had been creating and they began requesting cakes for their occasions.  What started as creating cakes eventually blossomed into cupcakes, cake pops, decorated cutout cookies, and entire dessert tables! Dessert tables have quickly become my specialty!  

A few years later, I launched Life of the Party Cake & Cookie Design! What started as a very part-time business for several years has now turned into a full-time job, and I couldn't be happier! 

 

Using the highest quality ingredients, I collaborate with my clients to serve their needs,  creating personalized cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, chocolates, desserts, and confection-based favors,
all carefully and meticulously prepared with much forethought and detail! 


Some of the occasions I specialize in are Holiday Parties, Weddings, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, First Communion, Baptism Parties, Anniversaries, Graduation Parties, School & Church Functions, Sporting themed and Awards Parties, Bachelor & Bachelorette, Memorial Tributes, ​Holiday Parties, Company Picnics, Charity Events, & I also create Corporate Holiday gifts.
